The patcher rewrites your MP4's internal moov atom — editing sample tables, chunk offsets and timing metadata using Blood Method. No pixels are changed, no quality is lost.

Patching happens on your own device, so only the tiny metadata is sent. Most files finish in seconds; a 2K/4K source has to be downscaled first, which takes longer on slower devices.

The patcher adjusts the quality signal of your file so TikTok's upload pipeline may keep more of the original quality. It doesn't guarantee a specific resolution, fps, or more views — results depend on your source file, export settings, and account.

No — this is a binary-level patch of the MP4's metadata and sample tables. No pixels are touched and nothing is re-encoded, which is why there's zero quality loss on 1080p and below. Files above 1080p are downscaled first so the patch can apply, and that step does re-encode them.

The patched file is always 1080p. That is the highest resolution the patch API accepts — anything larger is refused outright, so we downscale it on your device first. Your tier controls how large a file you may upload: Member up to 1080p, Booster up to 2K, Pro up to 4K. Uploading a larger file just saves you doing the downscale yourself — it does not produce a 2K or 4K output.

TikTok can drop 60fps videos down to 30fps. The trick: upload a clean H.264 export at 60fps, turn on the high-quality upload setting in TikTok, and patch the file so the pipeline recognizes the full frame rate.
